Our Favourite Lunchbox Ideas
If your kids are anything like mine, they tell it like it is!
"I don't like that.." or maybe it's "But my friend has.."
or Piper's personal favourite.. "That's yuck"
We have talked to one of our favourite mumma's, Ashley from Our Life Behind The Lens to find out her tips to putting together a great lunchbox. Whether they're at school, at home or even while you're on the run, we've complied the best tips & some of our favourite recipes!
Ash's go to fillers are cold roast chicken, sultanas, dry biscuits, popcorn, lots of fruit, cucumber & carrot sticks with dip, cheese and cold meats.

Involve your child in the making & packing. Create a positive conversation around the lunchbox items & empower your child to pack their lunch box. This creates a sense of ownership, acceptance and pride.
Batch cooking is a great way to stay ahead of the lunchbox game. Bake up some of your kids favourite snacks & pop them into the freezer in individual portions. Then you can just use your freezer stash making it super quick & easy to grab during those busy mornings. Because if you're anything like me, you forget to make the lunchboxes the night before..
Here's my top lunchbox recipe right now.. I make a batch of these Strawberry Coconut Cookies weekly & half of the batch is eaten before it makes it into the lunchboxes! Find the recipe HERE
